1. Room was dirty, ripped carpet, beer bottle tops at back of bed. 2. Air conditioner was faulty. 3. Phone did not work at all 4. I was locked out of my room each day and had to get my key recoded, sometimes twice a day. Despite requests each day to fix the problem. I would never ever stay at this place again, it was the worst place I have EVER stayed at in all my years of travel,

I do not like at all.

The hotel claimed that they never received my booking form Booking .com and they had no rooms for me.Booking .com verified that I made a booking and said that I should have a room and that they would call the hotel. Teh hotel claimed Booked.net had not sent a booking , nor called after I had telephoned Booked.net. Eventually the hotel found a room for me . Two other customers had the same problem. There was a big convention in slc and I had driven 8 hours to get there .The other two customers ahd arrived from japan. Sopmething was seriously wrong somewhere.

Nothing, I had to stay because I already prepaid, and was charged more than what I already paid.
I had no towels, broken furniture, rude front desk service, thank but no thanks.I Don't think I will stay here again.

A few miles down the road were some nice restaurants. We stayed out as along as we could to avoid going back to room.
Very old. Needs updating badly. Not dirty, just crummy

There was NO towels in my room when I checked in. I found the lockes on the door to be week. I am a single lady and in the middle of Salt Lake City and felt unsafe! Then apon awaking i took a and showered and found the blowdryer did not work! was really not happy with the room. I feel if the Days Inn repuation is important, simple issues need to be addressed!!!

We had a great stay at this hotel. The staff were polite and courteous, and they stayed out of our business for the most part. We appreciated not feeling like we were being watched or treated like criminals. The hotel facilities were clean and well-maintained. The newly renovated room we stayed in had a great king bed and a beautifully tiled bathroom.
Nothing to be said.

We liked the hot tub. The pool area is open from 7am-11pm, and that's about it for things we liked.
The other reviews were right, and we should have listened to them. For your own sake and peace of mind, just pick another hotel. Day's Inn Central is not worth the headache and frustration. The carpet was filthy, actually sticky with several stains around the room. I mean, we could have walked across the entire room on only stained carpet. The bathtub's non-slip pads were worn down and my wife slipped and fell in the shower. There is no sauna. I put that last statement in caps because it was one of the main reasons I wanted to stay there, it wasn't a big deal, but I don't like expecting a relaxing evening in a sauna only to find, while there is a sauna door in the pool area, it is sealed up and decommissioned. So that feature needs to be taken off of advertisement, because they don't have one. The bed was hard as a rock. My wife hated it, because she likes soft beds. I like a firm mattress, and I still hated how hard this bed was. The ice machine on our side of the hotel was out of order, but that wasn't a big deal to us. We also had a real problem at check-in. The front desk employee had an argument with 3 other guests, 4 including us while we were trying to get a room. One guest requested bath towels instead of pool towels to use. He had a large stack of bath towels available there at the front desk, and she practically had to get in his face before he would just hand her a towel. That shouldn't be a big deal, but the story goes on. There was a cash-paying guest who was told they needed a $50 deposit, and so the guest gave him $100 bill. I would expect to get the $100 broken into smaller bills so only $50 was kept as deposit. But the front desk agent said he was going to keep the whole $100 in case they trashed the room they wouldn't take off with his $50. I suspect at check out the hotel staff would say the deposit amount is only $50 and they would try to keep the rest. This story is none of our business, but just another eyebrow- raiser to us.
